At that time, his father Alfie Hatton had corn and feed farm. Currently, he has more than 35 years of experience in agriculture sector. Hatton Produce Limited is one of the leading suppliers of potatoes in Ireland, and beside potatoes, company also produces corn, cereals and Christmas trees.
